Types of Membership

IMC Armenia Membership Categories

The Membership with IMC Armenia provides evidence of members’ professionalism to clients / employers. The adherence to the high standards embodied in the Code of Professional Conduct and Practice raises the trust and confidence among potential clients.

Membership of the Institute is available to:

  • Management consultants and trainers whose principal activity is the practice of management consulting / training whether they are self employed or employees of a firm in public practice.
  • Internal Consultants whose employers are not engaged in the public practice of management consulting / training for a fee.
  • Academics consulting / training management.

Members also satisfy the standards required by the Institute in respect of qualifications, experience and personal qualities. All members of IMC Armenia must abide by the Institute’s Code of Professional Conduct and be committed to the achievement of IMC Armenia objectives. Members are entitled to meet the criteria for the particular grade membership.

Membership grades are:

Affiliate (AFIMC Armenia)

Any person, who has an interest in the profession, wishes to be informed about or support the profession and signs the code of conduct, may become an affiliate. Affiliate membership is also open to those who plan to make a career of consulting/training. This grade in the membership does not allow voting in IMC Armenia General Meetings and not allow to be elected in Board or Auditing Committee.

To become an Affiliate, individuals will:

  • Be a university graduate (minimum Bachelor’s degree)
  • Have a demonstrated interest in business consultancy / training
  • Be a new or aspiring consultant with less than 5 years of professional experience
  • His/her application shall be supported by two associate or full members of the Institute

Membership fee – 1,000 AMD per month

Associate (AIMC Armenia)

Associate members are entitled to use the letters AIMC Armenia after their name.  They have a voting right and are entitled to all rights and privileges of the membership of the IMC Armenia.

To become Associate, individuals will:

  • Hold a Master Degree (5 years of University level)
  • Be practicing management consultant or trainer with minimum 5 years of experience;
  • Demonstrate commitment to CPD
  • His/her application shall be supported by two full members of the Institute

Membership fee – 2,500 AMD per month

Member (MIMC Armenia)

Members are entitled to use the letter MIMC Armenia after their name. They have a voting right and are entitled to all rights and privileges of the membership of the IMC Armenia.

To become a Member, individuals will:

  • Hold a Master Degree (5 years of University level)
  • Be practicing management consultant or trainer with minimum 8 years of experience;
  • Be adherent with CMC standards of Competence and Framework
  • Provide CPD records
  • Aim to achieve the CMC

Honorary member

The Board of Directors may nominate honorary members from among important and prominent persons regardless of their nationality if it deems that this will serve the objectives and purposes of the Institute, provided that a member shall fulfill the following conditions:

  • He/She shall enjoy civil rights and be a good conduct and shall comply with the requirements of professional practice
  • His/Her nomination and approval shall be supported by the IMC Armenia at least 3 members.
